Body Shape
Our chickens are shaped the way nature intended with long keels and breast to leg meat in natural proportion. You will never find brick shaped breasts on our chickens which prevent full motion because the chicken can’t stand with its legs straight or prevent it from moving more than 20 feet before it has to sit down. Of course there is meat on the breasts but rather than develop the Barbie of chickens, we selected breeding stock with longer keels and added breast meat all the way down the breastbone. Not only does this design provide for balanced roasting and equally moist meat, our chickens can run, jump and in some cases, fly.
Resistance
Our chickens are born TOUGH! From pedigree stock to grandparents to parents to broiler chicks, our birds have NEVER received an antibiotic. We grow our birds like you grow your birds. No pristine, pampered environments real world growing conditions. As a result of this program, you should never have to give your chickens antibiotics. Their guts are resistant to most common bacteria. Enteritis and Ecoli breaks are extremely rare.
