Delaware

The Delaware is an ideal dual purpose bird with well developed egg and meat characteristics. Excellent as broilers with an abundance of vigor and fine market quality. The meat is distributed evenly over the body with the breast, thigh and leg being equal proportioned. The hens lay large brown eggs with males reaching market weight around 12 weeks.
